-
2 cups yellow onion, small diced
-
2 cups celery, small diced
-
3 cups water
-
2 teaspoons Tiger Life Gourmet Chicken Soup Seasoning
-
¼ teaspoon dried sage

-
1- 12oz bag Pepperidge Farm Herb Seasoned Classic Stuffing
Directions
- Prep the cornbread
Crumble the cooled cornbread into a large mixing bowl.
- Sauté the veggies
In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add chopped onions and celery. Season with black pepper sage, and dried herbs. Cook until softened and fragrant, about 6-7 minutes.
Add the sautéed vegetables to the cornbread. Mix gently to combine. Transfer crumbled cornbread to a greased 9x13-inch baking dish.
Make (vegetarian) Chicken Broth
Add 2 tsp Chicken Soup Seasoning to 3 cups of hot or boiling water. Stir to combine
Pour in the broth a little at a time. Mix until well combined. Continue adding broth as need. The texture should be moist but not soupy.
- Bake the dressing
Bake at 375°F for 35–45 minutes, or until golden brown on top and slightly crisp around the edges.
- Serve and enjoy
Let cool for 10 minutes before serving. Pair with turkey, cranberry sauce, or collard greens for the ultimate Southern comfort meal.
