  • 2 cups yellow onion, small diced
  • 2 cups celery, small diced
  • 3 cups water
  • 2 teaspoons Tiger Life Gourmet Chicken Soup Seasoning
  • ¼ teaspoon dried sage
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon poultry seasoning or about ¼ tsp each dried rosemary, thyme, and ground celery seed

Directions

  1. Prep the cornbread
  2. Crumble the cooled cornbread into a large mixing bowl.
  3. Sauté the veggies
  4. In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add chopped onions and celery. Season with black pepper sage, and dried herbs. Cook until softened and fragrant, about 6-7 minutes.

  10. Bake at 375°F for 35–45 minutes, or until golden brown on top and slightly crisp around the edges.
  11. Serve and enjoy
  12. Let cool for 10 minutes before serving. Pair with turkey, cranberry sauce, or collard greens for the ultimate Southern comfort meal.
