Chef Brasmyne grew up in the kitchen with the women in her family. She was always so curious about food and cooking. There was something so magical about the way food brought her family together. She reminisced about those days spent in the kitchen with her mom & grandmothers and decided that she wanted to impact the way people experience cooking.
She first started creating seasoning blends during her career as a Chef at State Farm Arena. There, she was responsible for creating massive batches of seasoning blends that were used to season the proteins that were served at every ATL Hawks basketball game.
After her departure, Chef Brasmyne decided to embark on a new journey and to become an entrepreneur in the CPG space. She combined her experience in professional kitchens with her corporate experience in sales, marketing, and branding to launch Tiger Life Gourmet in 2020.
Chef Brasmyne proclaims that she's just a Southern girl with a big heart and an even bigger dream of helping home cooks remove the guesswork from cooking with flavor. She designed her seasonings with convenience in mind. There's no need to grab multiple herbs + spices out of the pantry when you want to create a delicious, nostalgic meal. Everything you need is in one little jar.
Many people ask how she came up with the name Tiger Life Gourmet. It all goes back to those days she spent in the kitchen with her Grandmothers. Their spirit animal was the Tiger! So naturally, when Chef Brasmyne launched her brand, she knew she had to create a bold product that would help home cooks feel fierce + confident in the kitchen!
She creates all 8 of her bold seasoning blends in small batches out of a commercial kitchen Decatur, Ga. Each seasoning blend was inspired by her family's signature recipes. Plus, all of the seasonings are vegan-friendly, gluten-free, and additive-free.
